Researching and identifying Oracle problems is time consuming When applications running on Oracle experience performance problems, DBAs must perform problem or incident management. Problem or incident management is the process to identify symptoms of database issues, isolate the problem, and determine the best course of action to resolve the problem. This process is generally hands-on and requires the Oracle DBA to be escalated to login to the server and check for connectivity issues, cluster issues, log files errors, space issues and other indicators of a problem.
